Huixi Brush is a professional nylon wheel brush manufacturer based in Shanghai, China. Our nylon wheel brushes are a versatile, non-sparking alternative to traditional crimped wire wheel brushes and knotted wire wheel brushes. Because the abrasive grit is impregnated throughout each bristle rather than coated on the surface, nylon wheel brushes deliver consistent cutting action throughout their entire service life — and typically last significantly longer than wire bristle alternatives.
Key Advantages Over Wire Wheel Brushes
- Non-sparking — Safe for use in environments where metal sparks are a hazard, including near flammable materials or in food processing facilities
- Rust-resistant — Nylon filaments do not corrode, making them suitable for wet environments and long-term storage
- No wire breakage — Eliminates the risk of broken wire fragments embedding in workpiece surfaces or becoming a safety hazard
- Consistent performance — Abrasive grit distributed throughout the filament ensures uniform cutting action from new to worn
- Longer service life — Nylon filaments generally outlast wire bristles in comparable applications
Abrasive Filament Types
- Silicon carbide (SiC) abrasive nylon — The most common abrasive nylon grade. Aggressive cutting action for deburring, rust removal, scale cleaning, and surface preparation on metal and wood. Available in multiple grit grades.
- Aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) abrasive nylon — Slightly harder and more durable than SiC for demanding surface finishing applications on hard metals.
- Ceramic grain abrasive nylon — Premium abrasive for fine deburring and precision surface finishing where a consistent, controlled finish is required.
- Plain nylon (non-abrasive) — For gentle cleaning, polishing, and applications where no material removal is required.
- Horsehair — Extra-soft natural bristle wheel for delicate surface cleaning, light polishing, and dusting on wood, furniture, and sensitive surfaces.
Common Applications
- Deburring after CNC machining, stamping, laser cutting, and casting
