Our spiral brushes are produced by embedding brush wire into a galvanized steel or stainless steel channel strip, then winding the strip into a continuous spring-like coil. This construction gives spiral brushes outstanding flexibility, consistent bristle contact, and excellent performance in cleaning, descaling, and surface treatment applications.

Types of Spiral Brushes

Descaling spiral brushes — Inward (inverted) coil brushes designed for rust removal, scale stripping, and surface pre-treatment on wire rods, steel bars, and metal profiles. The inward spiral configuration directs bristle force toward the workpiece center for aggressive descaling action. Available in steel wire, copper-coated steel wire, and brass wire.

Rope cleaning spiral brushes — Designed to clean wire ropes, cables, and hoses by passing through the coil. The brush bristles penetrate the rope strands to remove grease, rust, and debris. Available in small diameters from 6mm upward to suit different rope sizes.

Cylindrical spiral brushes — Outward spiral brushes wound around a cylindrical core for use as roller brushes on industrial equipment. The spiral wound structure delivers a high-density brush face and uniform cleaning or polishing action across the full working width.

Inward vs Outward Spiral

• Inward spiral (inverted coil) — Bristles face inward toward the center of the coil. Used for cleaning or descaling the outer surface of rods, bars, ropes, and cables passing through the brush.
• Outward spiral — Bristles face outward from the core. Used as a roller or cylindrical brush where the outer brush face contacts the workpiece or surface being cleaned.
