Our stem-mounted wheel brushes are compact wire wheel brushes fitted with a steel spindle or mandrel shank, designed for use in electric drills, die grinders, and rotary power tools. The stem mounting allows the brush to reach confined areas, tight corners, and hard-to-access surfaces that cannot be treated with larger arbor-mounted wheel brushes.

Mounting Types

• Spindle-mounted (shank-mounted) — The brush wheel is permanently fixed to a steel spindle shank, typically 6mm diameter, for direct chuck mounting in electric drills and rotary tools. No additional adapter required.
• Mandrel-mounted — The brush wheel is mounted on a threaded mandrel. Allows the brush wheel to be replaced independently when worn, making mandrel-mounted brushes more economical for high-volume users.

Available Wire Materials

• Carbon steel wire — For heavy-duty rust removal, scale cleaning, and surface preparation on ferrous metals. High hardness and aggressive cutting action.
• Stainless steel wire — For rust removal on stainless steel workpieces or applications where carbon contamination must be avoided.
• Brass wire — Softer wire for gentle cleaning, polishing, and spark-sensitive environments. Suitable for non-ferrous metals and delicate surfaces.
